Window Creeps, Pumpkin Animation and other looping animation effects for Halloween

How it works: After the music has been added to movie file it can be converted to a looping DVD or it can just run directly on a laptop connected to a digital projector. Only one projector is needed since all three pumpkin faces are in the movie together. Hide the projector behind some bushes or some set up tombstones and project the movie onto some fake or real pumpkins of your own. I personally use fake ones that I can use over and over every year. Plug in some PC desktop speakers and hide them as well. If this is burned to a DVD just make sure it is set to loop. If this is going to run off a laptop make sure the player is set to repeat or loop. Done!

Note that some people have requested that the background of the pumpkins to have a black background and some (like myself) like the orange backround (seen below) so the pumpkins can have an orange color on the face. I now provide both versions of the file for what works best for you. I also added a slight candle light glow in each head in the black background version as a bonus.

I have an older video on youtube of the pumpkins where they look around for two minutes before they start singing and I also have this footage included in this video if you want to use it. I no longer use that footage since people that were walking up to my house would not notice the pumpkins unless they were singing. Some people have asked me for the footage so I still include it in the pumpkin animation download, but you can just cut it out in your video editinig software if you don't want to use that part of the footage. In this video you can see how I set up the fake pumpkins (or you can use real ones if you like) in my yard so you can get an idea on how I build my effect.

Both the Pumpkins and Skull animate to the entire Grim Grinning Song but both use different sound tracks. The pumpkins sing from the Graveyard busts and the skull sings from the Headless Horseman track. See below for Skull music track info and link.


	New Creepy Pumpkins with fun animation!
	New, last minute update for this Halloween! I created a brand new Creepy Pumpkin Effect for this year. I am selling the animation (without sound of course). See my prototype before I present it this Halloween. The animation is set up to have the music dropped right into your video editor and should be synced right up from beginning to end. The faces are also in the same location as the "Classic Pumpkins" so you can have them transition at the end from the new pumpkins to the classic ones if you wanted to. 	The animation only comes in this (orange background) format. No Black background versions will be available. If you shoot the pumpkins with a distant background or with tress or bushes behind them, the framed light projection is a lot harder to see.

	The original Classic Pumpkins
	Note: Due to Disney owning the rights to the Grim Grinning Ghosts music I can not sell the Pumpkin animation with the sound or music. The song Grim Grinning Ghosts can be found on Itunes under "Grim Grinning Ghosts" or "Disney Monster Bash." I can sell the animation movie file without sound in a high quality mpeg format. Anyone with some video editing knowledge with Final Cut, Adobe Premiere (or any other video editing software), can easily sync the animation and the music file together to create this animated pumpkin effect.

	Skull Animation (no sound) sync to GGG Headless Horseman This effect is a bit different but is works on the classic pepper's ghost effect. The skull is reflected off an angled piece of glass or plexi-glass from a window. Place a TV screen at the bottom of your window with the screen facing up. The angle of the glass can be angled toward or away from the TV. The isolated voice soundtrack for the Skull Animation is almost impossible to find and isn't sold anywhere. So until then here is a download mp3 of the file. If Disney ever decides to sell it, I will provide information on where to purchase it and remove the file immediately. Download mp3 of isolated Headless Knight soundtrack to sync to Skull Animation. Right click on Download and choose "save target as" or "save link" as to download the file.

	Window Creeps with sound effects! This entire video was created by myself along with all the creepy sound effects. This simple but yet effective effect is really easy to do and looks great at Halloween. You can run this mpeg video on a laptop connected to a digital projector right from inside your home!

	Here is a diagram on how to set up this effect. Set your laptop video player to repeat or loop and set to full screen. Connect the laptop to any digital projector and project it to a shower curtain hanging over your window. Make sure the projected image completely covers the window size from outside. Add speakers to the front of the house and plug it to the laptop.

		Put outside speakers hidden in bushes in front of your window with an extended wire leading to the laptop or DVD player.
	NOTE: The Happy Halloween text is backwards in the actual video so it will read correctly when viewed from outside the window.
